Mission

Clay was Rocket Lab's 100th payload. Within a few hours of launch, the satellite made initial contact with the Iridium network while freely tumbling. Clay's ongoing testing includes variations on Iridium operations, reaction-wheel despin, and limited reaction-wheel control. The satellite periodically communicates its temperature, attitude, reaction wheel operation, battery charge, power consumption, power generation, and pointing control performance.
